COVID ATTACK ON JOHN ABRAHAM

(The Quiver) Recently, several other Bollywood celebrities including Mrunal Thakur, Nora Fatehi and Shilpa Shirodkar shared that they have tested positive for COVID-19 on their social media handles.

Now,John Abraham and his wife Priya Runchal  are tested positive for COVID-19 .They are currently under home quarantine. Announcing this news on his Instagram story, John revealed, “I came in contact 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had COVID. Priya and I have tested positive for COVID. We have been quarantined at home so haven’t been in contact with anyone else,” wrote John Abraham.

In an interview with ANI, the actor shared that they are experiencing mild symptoms. “We are both vaccinated and experienced mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Masks up.”

India recorded 33,750 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, 22 per cent higher than yesterday, while 123 people died due to the virus in a day. The number of cases of fast-spreading Omicron variant has risen to 1,700, with Maharashtra reporting the greatest number of infections.

The active case count of India stands at 1,45, 582.A total of 10,846 recoveries in the last 24 hours took the overall recovery number to 3,42,95,407.
