UNVEILING OF HOLOGRAM STATUE : MODIJI TRIBUTES NETAJI
(The Quiver)Prime Minister Narendra Modi ,today on the occasion of Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti unveiled the hologram statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at India Gate . A grand statue of Netaji will be made of granite ,will replace the hologram statue once it completed.
An invisible,high gain ,90 percent transparent holographic screen has been erected in such a way that it is not visible to visitors .The 3D image of Netaji will be projected on it to create the effect of a hologram. The size of the hologram statue is 28 feet in height and 6 feet in width.
On the investiture ceremony the PM also conferred the ‘Subhas Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar’ for the years 2019, 2021 and 2022 . A total of seven awards were presented in the ceremony. The Union government is presenting this annual award in honour of individuals and organizations who contributed their selfless service towards India in the field of disaster management.
The award is announced every year on January 23, the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. It carries a cash prize of Rs 51 lakh and a certificate in the case of an institution and Rs 5 lakh and a certificate in the case of an individual.
