IS IT FINE REOPENING SCHOOLS IN COVID?

(The Quiver) : The Union Health Ministry is likely going to issue an advisory to the states and Union Territories to reopen the schools with Covid norms . As reported by a source , the Ministry may issue advisory soon to the states and UTs in this regard to reopen schools with protocols.

As per the source, the government is working on a model to reopen the schools on the demands of concerned parents. Further adding to it said ,the Ministry has already asked the experts to explore all the options to reopen the schools for students in the middle of the Covid crisis.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also raised his concern on the issue by saying,” a generation of children will be left behind if we do not open schools now and that excessive caution is now harming our children”.

Meanwhile a delegation of parents had submitted a memorandum signed by more than 1,600 parents for reopening of schools in the national capital on Wednesday.

In between all these a rising concerns about the students health after re-opening of schools are quoted within question mark . Can the students stay safe from Corona infections after the reopening of schools?, as till now only beneficiaries of age 18 are administered with vaccine doses. How long it will take to administer vaccines to beneficiaries below 18 years children ? Will it be a wise decision to open-up schools in this prevailing situation?
