‘O MITRON’ IS DANGEROUS FOR THAROOR

‘O Mitron’ is far more dangerous than Omicron , such a statement is given by Senior Congress leader Shasi Tharoor . Today the congressman sarcastically commented over the popular phrase of PM Modi , ‘Mitron’ .This phrase is commonly used by the PM while addressing the whole nation. Tharoor took a dig on PM indicating his ‘O Mitron’ is more dangerous than Omicron.

Tharoor mentioned in his tweet, “Far more dangerous than #Omicron is ‘O Mitron’! We are measuring the consequences of the latter every day in increased polarisation, promotion of hatred & bigotry, insidious assaults on the Constitution & the weakening of our democracy. There is no “milder variant” of this virus.”

Legs pulling between political parties are common to watch but some statements given by the political leaders go viral over social media platforms just like the way Tharoor’s statements are going viral nowadays.

Shashi Tharoor has been taking subtle digs at the Bharatiya Janata Party and its leaders over the past few days. On January 29, the Thiruvananthpuram MP shared a video of Yogi Adityanath and said that the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister had no idea how much damage he had caused to the country. “This country has been turned into a graveyard,” he commented.  

Before this, on January 26, he had taken a dig at the BJP, saying that it was a Party composed of Congress leaders. Shashi Tharoor pinned the phrase, “Congress-yukt BJP (Congress (leaders)-laden BJP)”, a play on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of ‘Congress mukt Bharat’ or ‘Congress-free India’.
