INDIA SUPERSEDES CHINESE WOLF DIPLOMACY

(The Quiver) : The main motive behind organizing International sports events is to establish friendly relationships among the countries of the world. But Chinese wolf diplomacy deviates from this. As it can be well marked from China’s politicization of the Olympics.
Col. Qi Fabao, a regimental commander in China’s army, carried the torch on Wednesday, on the first day of its three-day tour in and near Beijing. It is evident that India has acknowledged 20 dead and China has acknowledged four dead in the fighting, which took place in the Galwan Valley. Well responding to it India diplomatically slapped this action by boycotting the opening or closing ceremonies of the Olympics. On Thursday evening India announced that the top diplomat at its embassy in Beijing would not attend the opening or closing ceremonies of the Olympics
“It is indeed regrettable that the Chinese side has chosen to politicize an event like the Olympics,” Arindam Bagchi, a spokesman for the ministry of external affairs in New Delhi, said at a news conference.
India’s public broadcaster, Doordarshan, announced later Thursday evening that it would also not broadcast the opening or closing ceremonies.
The counter to Chinese wolf warrior diplomacy is building up with US President Joe Biden sending his closest political allies as Ambassadors to India, Japan and Australia to strengthen the Indo-Pacific alliance and QUAD. India will continue to exercise its strategic autonomy, today’s India is strengthening its land, air and sea-based deterrence with a focus on the Indo-Pacific in collaboration with QUAD and strategic ally France. Time of accommodation of China is over.
