MAKE IN INDIA OR BREAK IN INDIA

(The Quiver) : In the Union Budget session 2022, The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government will auction telecom spectrum in 2022 making it clear that  it would facilitate private players to roll out 5G services before March 2023.  Further announcing , to enable affordable broadband and mobile service proliferation in rural and remote areas with 5% of annual collections under the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF) will be allocated. These initiatives will turn India to “Digital India“.  But here many questions arise ,is Digital India all about a eye candy dream that the government of India is luring its people with? Is this lollipop concept only advertised for grabbing votes ? What after that ? many attractive promises are made by Modi Sarkar But how many of them are actually implemented in reality? Are MAKE IN INDIA and DIGITAL INDIA are only left  in lines?

From center lets drop down to State’s Smart City Concept . Smart City concept reality can be seen through even sleepy eyes. Where are the developments hiding? when can we call ourselves rightly developed? Kese Padhega India without proper internet connectivity services to remote areas of the states and the country? followed by kese badhega digital India?

If we go by the latest report on Mobile Connectivity of the Country ,released by the Ministry of communications we can well mark the reality of concepts like MAKE IN INDIA, DIGITAL INDIA  and SMART CITIES OF INDIA and the present situation of our Country.

25 ,000 Villages are far away from mobile connectivity . Of them the situation of Odisha villages are worst , mobile connectivity are absent in 6,099 villages of Odisha , can be marked on the topmost place in the report .
