REOPENING DATE OF SCHOOLS IS SHIFTED

(The Quiver): Odisha government had announced to reopen school by 14th february. Now the reopening date of schools is shifted to 28.02.22,for class I to class VII. The physical classes in the schools will be conducted from febraury 28 but classes will be conducted on online mode from 14th february.

The reopening date of schools is shifted due to the progression of essential maintanenace works in schools before their reopening. Besides this, Most of the polling personnel engaged for elections consists of teaching and non- teching staff. These polling personnel are undergoing training and are engaged in other related election works. Moreover, many of the school campuses will be used as polling stations. So, to prevent the spreading of infections to children, reopening date of schools are shifted. But the teachers will go to schools to ensure the cleaning and santisation works of schools.
