KUMAR VISHWAS GETS ‘Y’ CATEGORY SECURITY COVER
(The Quiver): The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided to grant ‘Y’ category security to poet and activist Kumar Vishvas. Following his claim that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wanted to become the Prime Minister of “independent Khalistan”, the Union government has given Y category security with CRPF cover to Kumar Vishwas.The decision was based on intelligence inputs and taken after a thorough review.
On Friday, government sources had told PTI that the central government is reviewing the security of former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas and may give him protection through a central agency.
The move came in the wake of allegations against AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
