SITUATION OF CIVILIANS IN UKRAINE, HOW ARE THEY LIVING THERE?
(The Quiver) : Russia- Ukraine tragic War taken lives of 137 Ukrainians and 83 military facilities on the very first day . Friday is witnessing the 2nd day of this deadly war. In day two the capital city of Kyiv witnessed multiple rocket strikes. Air and missile strikes have rained down on cities and military bases, with tanks rolling in across three sides of Ukraine’s vast border. It followed weeks of escalating tensions, as Russia massed troops around the country. Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba slammed these strikes by saying the last time Kyiv ever experienced this was in 1941 when the capital city was attacked by the Nazis.
The worst sufferers of the war are its civilians who strongly condemn war. As per the UN estimates more than 100,000 people have already fled from their homes living their belongings and everything . Overnight, at least 1,000 Ukrainians arrived by train in Poland’s south-eastern city of Przemysl alone.
The leftover civilians are bound to take shelter inside bunkers, underground metro stations and other safe places .The people and children are starving from hunger without food and there are no ways of escaping as death is waiting for them outside the safety places.
“They [the Russians] say that civilian objects are not targets. It is a lie,” Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video released early on Friday. “The reality is that they don’t see a difference in which areas they target.”
