RUSSIAN TROOPS ENTERED KHARKIV :RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR 4TH DAY UPDATES

Today, on the fourth day of Russia-UKraine tension , Russian troops have entered  Kharkiv , the country’s second-largest city, located in Ukraine’s north-east. An adviser to Ukraine’s interior minister and other officials have confirmed about it.

As Russian forces started moving in towards the Ukrainian capital from all side, two large explosions were heard south of Kyiv in Vasylkiv early on Sunday, according to news agency Reuters. As Russia’s aggression moved to the streets of multiple Ukrainian cities, the Russian Ministry of Defence said its troops have been ordered to resume their offensive “in all directions”. This comes after Ukraine’s outgunned forces held the capital for the third day , on Saturday as the war continued across the country.  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked the citizens to defend the nation as he himself refused to leave Kyiv.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has rejected the Russian offer of talks in Belarus, as reported by news agency Reuters . In a national address on Sunday morning, Zelenskiy said he remains open to talks in other locations that are not showing aggression towards Ukraine. The Ukrainian president added that talks in Minsk could have been possible if Russia had not attacked Ukraine from Belarusian territory.
