5th DAY LATEST RUSSIAN-UKRAINE WAR UPDATES ; weekend curfew is lifted in Kyiv ,learn more

(The Quiver) : In the fifth day of Russia- Ukraine tension , the war destruction continues as no productive developments evolved from the Sunday meeting between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine had agreed on Sunday to hold peace talks with Russia at the Belarus border but lack of mutual understandings between the two countries is  drawing them towards serious destruction.

The war is going to be even worse as Belarus has announced to join the war being in the side of Russia. Responding to Russian aggression in Ukraine , Belgium , Finland and Canada have joined the list of countries that have shut down their airspace to Russian planes. western nations led by the US also announced a new set of economic sanctions to trouble Russia.

Today, Russia conducted air strikes on airport in Ukraine from Belarus.As reported by The Kyiv Independent , Russia launched Iskander missile systems to attack Zhytomyr Airport in Ukraine . Russian ballistic missile launchers conducted the airstrikes from the territory of Belarus . On Sunday , Belarus had assured it wouldn’t allow any airstrikes from its territory.

In between all these , Ukraine’s Armed forces announced its capital Kyiv is under their control and they have swept away Russian forces from Kyiv . Weekend curfew in Kyiv is lifted.

Also , Ukraine has successfully held its another major city Kharkiv . Russian forces have failed to conquer it despite of repeated military attacks. This show now Ukraine is giving a tough competition to its fellow Russian rivals.
