WEEKEND CURFEW LIFTED IN KYIV , INDIANS ARE ASKED TO IMMEDIATELY MOVE TO NEARBY RAILWAY STATIONS

(The Quiver) : Today , Ukraine’s Armed forces announced its capital Kyiv is under their control now and they have swept away Russian forces from Kyiv . With this announcement is done that weekend curfew is lifted in Kyiv.

The Embassy of India on Monday informed that the weekend curfew has been lifted in Kyiv and advised Indian students to move towards the railway stations as soon as possible . The Ukraine Railways have arranged special trains for evacuations , it added.
The Indian Embassy stated ,”Weekend curfew lifted in Kyiv. All students are advised to make their way to the railway station for an onward journey to the western parts.Ukraine Railways is putting special trains for evacuations”.

The Centre has also set up a dedicated Twitter handle “OpGanga Helpline” to assist and guide the Indians in the evacuation from Ukraine under Operation Ganga. The Twitter account lists helpline numbers in Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic – all nations which share border with Ukraine.
