CBI Filed Chargesheet Against ex-Defence Secretary, Shashi Kant Sharma In AgustaWestland VVIP chopper case
(The Quiver) : A supplementary chargesheet has been filed by CBI against India’s former Defence Secretary Shashi Kant Sharma in connection with the Rs 3,700 crore AgustaWestland VVIP chopper case. Sharma served as Defence Secretary between 2011 and 2013.
Apart from Sharma, the CBI has mentioned several retired IAF officials in its supplementary chargesheet.
The VVIP chopper scam involves the purchase of 12 VVIP choppers from AgustaWestland.
