GULLY BOY RAPPER MC TOD FOD PASSES AWAY FROM STROKE

(The Quiver) : MC Tod Fod aka Dharmesh Parmar, who was associated with Mumbai’s multilingual hip-hop group Swadesi, passed away at the age of 24.

Earlier today Gully boy actors Ranveer Singh, Siddhant Chaturvedi and producer Zoya Akhtar, took to their social media handles to mourn the loss of the Gully Boy rapper. As revealed by a close friend of the rapper the rapper passed away due to a stroke.

As per a source close to MC Tod Fod, the rapper suffered a stroke. “He was suffering from other health issues as well, but he died due to a stroke on Sunday,” revealed his friend. The news of his death only came to light this morning, March 22.

MC Tod Fod was associated with the Mumbai-based multilingual hip-hop collective Swadesi. MC Tod Fod was among the most popular hip-hop artistes in India and fans loved his hard-hitting verses. His songs like The Warli Revolt and Plandemic became hits. His last single was Truth and Bass, which was released on March 8.He was among the 54 contributors, along with Divine, Naezy, Sez on the beat, Rishi Rich, Dub Sharma, Jasleen Royal, Ace, Ishq Bector, MC Altaf, 100 RBH, Maharya, Noxious D, and Viveick Rajagopalan who contributed to the 18-song soundtrack of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. Paying a tribute to MC Tod Fod, Ranveer Singh shared a picture of the rapper on his Instagram story.

Siddhant too posted a picture of MC Tod Fod, along with a screenshot of his conversation. He wrote, “RIP bhai”.Take a look at Ranveer and Siddhant’s tributes:
