AUDIENCE FORCIBLY STOPPED THE SCREENING OF AKSHAY KUMAR’S BACHCHHAN PAANDEY SCREENING TO WATCH THE KASHMIR FILES

(The Quiver ) : Rising popularity of Vivek Agnihotri’s  film “The Kashmir Files” is becoming a threat for the release of others films in cinema halls. The craziness for the film “The Kashmir Files” is so much that people are not ready to watch any other new releases.

Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey is facing such difficulty ,the film was expected to be a blockbuster hit, but is now struggling to reach Rs 100 crore mark. As per the latest updates,a mob forcibly stopped the screening of Bachchan Paandey in Sambalpur in Odisha. They wanted the theatre to be cleared for the screening for The Kashmir Files.

 According to evidence , there is not just one incident but many theatre owners are facing the same problem. An exhibitor spoke to Bollywood Hungama and said that mobs were creating ruckus on the premises and fighting with the staff, claiming that a scene was missing from the film. The exhibitor added, “How can any theatre manager cut any scene from any film?”

Bachchhan Paandey is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and written by Nischay Kuttanda and director Farhad Samji.  The film features Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon as leads and Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Daabbi ,Saharsh Kumar Shukla are featured in supporting roles. Bachchhan Paandey was earlier set to premiere on December 25, 2020. However, the release date was pushed and Farhad Samji’s directorial will now release theatrically on March 18, 2022. The story revolves around an aspiring director (Kriti) who wants to make a film on a deadly gangster (Akshay).
