Lucknow (The Quiver):Today , an unusual incident occurred in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly . Two bitter rivals — Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav — were seen shaking hands in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly as they took their oaths on Monday.

The video shared by news agency ANI shows Adityanath and Yadav greeting each other and shaking hands on the floor of the House, who were the prime challengers of each other in this elections. The CM pats the SP chief on his shoulder before moving on.
