STUDENTS WRITING “KHELA HOBE ” IN EXAMS WILL INVITE PENAL ACTION

(The Quiver) : A section of the students who had appeared for the West Bengal board’s class 10 examination last month have written a popular dialogue of Mamata didi in their answer papers, the authorities have decided to take penal action against examinees if they repeat the same joke in the ongoing class 12 exam.

While checking the answer sheets of students who had appeared class 10 board , Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the West Bengal Board of secondary education, the examiners have found that a number of students have written ‘Khela Hobe'(there will be a game), a popular slogan used by Trinamool Congress Superme Mamata Banerjee .

WBCHSE President Chiranjib Bhattacharya told PTI on Wednesday,”Examiners have been instructed not to evaluate such answer papers. Penal action will be taken (against those who will write such matters). A high powered committee formed by the Council will decide on the quantum of punishment.”

Strict penal action will be taken against students those will Write any political slogans, campaigns, drawings or controversial issues on the answer papers, that violate the rules and guidelines of the WBCHSE , warned Bhattacharya.

The HS exams began on April 2 and will continue till April 27.
