KASHMIR TERROR YASIN MALIK JAILED FOR LIFE TIME

New Delhi (The Quiver) :On Wednesday evening , The Patiala Court of Delhi sentenced Yasin Malik with lifetime imprisonment . Kashmiri separatist and chief of banned Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik was held guilty of all the charges including those under the stringent Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), in a terror funding case.

The NIA had demanded the maximum punishment under Section 121 (Waging war against the government) which is the death penalty in case of Yasin Malik. The NIA on Wednesday told the court that he was responsible for the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the erstwhile state, as per IANS.

CHARGES AGAINST MALIK

The case against Malik was over the JKLF carrying out attacks on security forces in 2017 along with other terrorist organisations, like Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Hizb-ul-Mujahiddin (HM), and Jaish-e- Mohd (JeM). Malik was booked under several acts of terrorism, including the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Malik on 10 May had pleaded guilty to all charges including the UAPA.

Many people expressed their disappointment after the Patiala court given verdict against Yasin Malik . Many believes that proper justice was not given in case of Yasin Malik , for the brutal crimes which Malik had committed are unforgivable . The appropriate Punishment for Yasin Malik should be hang till death.
