WOMAN EMPOWERMENT IN UPSC 2021 EXAMINATION; SHRUTI SHARMA ON TOP

New Delhi(The Quiver): On Monday, Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) announced final result of the UPSC examination,2021. This time UPSC final result brought a tide of happiness for the country. As women showed their true empowerment by acquiring the top three positions in the final result list.

The first three rank holders are – Shruti Sharma has topped the list ,following her Ankita Agarwal who came second and Gamini Singla is the third topper while Aishwarya Verma held the fourth position in the list.

Karthik Panigrahi emerged as Odisha topper in the Civil Services Examination, Karthik secured the 63rd rank in the exam. Other candidates from Odisha who cracked the Civil Services Examination-2021 were Gourab Kumar Agarwal (86), Pooja Sahu (199), Biswa Bisruta Tripathy (232), Samir Kumar Jena (273), Soumya Ranjan Pradhan (306) and Manas Ranjan Sahu (513).

As many as 685 candidates have qualified the prestigious test and of them, 244 are from general category, 73 from Economically Weaker Sections , 203 of Other Backward Classes, 105 Scheduled Caste and 60 from the Scheduled Tribes.

Congratulating the successful candidates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted:
