FAREWELL KK, YOUR SONGS WILL BE FOREVER CHERISHED
Mumbai (The Quiver) : India’s favourite Singer KK took forever goodbye from everyone leaving behind his family and friends with teary eyes. Today the 53 year old singer’s family performed his last rites in Mumbai’s Versova .
His son Nakul Krishna Kunnath, daughter Taamara, and wife Jyothy Krishna, as well as prominent people from the music industry, gathered at the cremation grounds to pay their last respects.
KK breathe his last at a hotel of Kolkata where he was staying after the concert . He was taken to hospital where doctors declared him dead. His mortal remains was brought to Mumbai after autopsy. The singer reportedly suffered a heart attack .West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee arranged a gun salute in respect of the past Singer before sending his body to Mumbai. KK’s family took his mortal remains via a flight to Mumbai at 5.15 pm on June 1. The flight landed at around 8 pm in Mumbai.
Prior to the cremation, celebs such as Javed Akhtar, Abhijeet ,Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, Alka Yagnik, singer Papon, and others arrived at KK’s Andheri residence in Mumbai for antim darshan.
Versatile Singer KK’s songs will be cherished in the Indian music industry and his fans.
The kolkata Police had registered a case of unnatural death previously as according to police sources injury marks were found on KK’s face and head. However , a preliminary post-mortem report has now ruled out unnatural death. The preliminary post-mortem report indicated nothing “unnatural as far as death is concerned”. The final autopsy report will be published in 72 hours.
