MONKEY POX IN INDIA : 5-YEAR UP GIRL SAMPLE TEST

Ghaziabad (The quiver) : Chief  Medical officier (CMO) of  Ghaziabad told news agency ANI  that a 5-year -old girl’s sample was collected for mokeypox testing after she complained of itching and rashes on her body.

The CMO confirmed ,”She has no other health issues & neither she nor any of her close contact travelled abroad in the past 1 month”, quoted by ANI.

Its high time for India to take up precautionary steps in order to remain safe from monkey pox. There is no safe proven treatment for monkey pox yet , the WHO recommends supportive treatment depending on the symptoms.

The common symptoms of Monkey pox typically begin with a flu-like illness and swelling of the lymph nodes, followed by a rash on the face and body.
