CM NAVEEN’S NEW TEAM :21 MINISTERS TOOK OATH, 12 NEW FACES, 5 WOMEN

(The Quiver):Odisha politics took a new as Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik done a major reshuffle in his cabinet. Today all the newly appointed ministers took oath in the sworn in ceremony.

CM Naveen had asked all the 20 ministers to resign from their respective posts on Saturday. The reshuffle comes at a time when the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Government completed three years of its fifth term in office on May 29.
All 21 Ministers were sworn in at a special ceremony at Lok Seva Bhawan here today. Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Ministers–13 Cabinet Ministers and eight Minister of State.

As many as 12 new faces, including five women, have been inducted to Naveen’s new team. They are:  

Nuapada MLA Rajendra Dholakia

Aul MLA Pratap Keshari Deb

Binjharpur MLA Pramila Mallik

Rairakhol MLA Rohit Pujari

Jaleswar MLA Aswini Kumar Patra

Mahakalpada MLA Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak

Polasara MLA Srikanta Sahu

Chikiti MLA Usha Devi

Sukinda MLA Pritiranjan Ghadai

Bijepur MLA Rita Sahu

Boudh MLA Pradip Kumar Amat

Karanjia MLA Basanti Hembram

The Senior Ministers who became Cabinet Ministers
Jagannath Saraka , the two time MLA ,was first to take oath as cabinet minister.
Five time MLA and senior BJD Niranjan Pujari also took oath as cabinet minister.  
Senior leader and Boudh MLA Pradeep Amat was also sworn-in as cabinet minister.
