OLLYWOOD’S POPULAR VILLIAN RAI MOHAN COMMITTED SUICIDE

Bhubaneswar (The Quiver) : On Friday, Odia film veteran actor and jatra artiste Raimohan Parida, who is well known for his negative roles, was found dead in his home .
Parida was found hanging at his residence at Prachi Vihar here today. He was 58. He is survived by wife and two daughters.

As per initial reports, Parida has committed suicide. The reason behind why the actor committed suicide is still unclear.

Many of his friends from ollywood industry are not able to believe that Raimohan could commit suicide.

Expressing shock over Raimohan’s death, noted actor Siddhant Mahapatra, who had acted with the former in several movies, said, “It is hard to believe such an actor, who has seen several ups and downs in life, can think of doing something like this as he was quite successful.”

According to Mahapatra, he had last met with Raimohan and his family last week at a function. “We had a good interaction with Raimohan and he enquired everything about my family. During our conversation, Raimohan doesn’t seem to be depressed.”

Raimohan’s neighbour said, “We had met him yesterday and appeared quite normal. We cannot believe that Raimohan, who is loved by all, is no more.”

Raimohan has acted in over 90 Odia and 15 Bengali movies. He has also acted in Jatras and theatre plays.

The actor had acted in several superhit movies, including Rama Laxman, Aasibu Kebe Saji Mo Rani, Naga Panchami, Udandi Sita, Tu Thile Mo Dara Kahaku, Rana Bhumi, Singha Bahini, Kulanandan and Kandhei Aakhire Luha. His dialogue “Heiti Anaani… Jyoti Mastraani” from the movie “Ranabhumi ” earned him the tag of ‘bad boy’ in Ollywood industry.
