JASPRIT BUMRAH SHINED AT EDGBASTON, CREATES WORLD RECORD

(The Quiver) : Jasprit Bumrah creates world record in Edgbaston. Jasprit Bumrah shined at Edgbaston as he smashed 35 runs against Stuart Broad to break brain Lara’s 19 year old record for most runs in a over in test cricket.

Back in 2003, South African left arm spinner Robin petersen had conceded 28 runs against Lara in the Johannesburg test match. While congratulating Bumrah for breaking his record, he tweeted, Join me in congratulating @Jaspritbumrah93 on breaking the record of most runs in an single over in tests.

You can’t be serious. 35 runs of that over, most of it courtesy Jasprit Bumrah. Former West Indies fast bowler Lan bishop tweeted.
