PM Modi’s words of encouragement for the Indian athletes

(The Quiver) : On Wednesday, Ahead of Commonwealth Games 2022,Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had an interaction with the whole squad of Indian contingent as they compete against the world in Birmingham.

Through calls of congratulations and felicitations, the PM has expressed his admiration for successful athletes. The dynamic leader has also started sporting initiatives and been actively involved in enhancing the sports infrastructures.


“Without a doubt, the competition will be of the highest calibre and fiercest, but our athletes have trained hard, are in great shape, and are ready to compete. We send them our warmest wishes “Rajeev Mehta, the secretary general of the IOA, was cited as saying.

“I’m so happy to be speaking with you all today. If I had met everyone of you in person, I would have been happier. The Honourable Prime Minister stated.

A 322-member strong contingent has been send for the upcoming edition of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. It comprises of 215 athletics and the number of officials and support staff are 107.
“Play well without stress and best of your abilities. he further said “Koi nahi hai Thakkar mei, Kyun pade ho chakkar mei”. play with the same amount of composure and attitude in the Commonwealth Games. PM Modi said.
The athletes will reside in five different “Villages,” while the women’s cricket team will occupy a different building in the heart of Birmingham.
