He is India’s talismanic batsman Virat Kohli. Virat is going through a rough patch currently. He is unable to reach those three figure mark since, but the delusional question keep getting raised by cricket pundits via twitter saying terms like ” he is over”, “he should stop playing” cricket after his rare slump in the form.

Every player goes through such stages in life where he does not get the runs that he wants . The standard set to Virat in his tenure has been massive. He was scoring a century in every 6.57 per innings back then.

In Virat’s bad times,Many cricketers across the globe showed support and faith for Kohli in his tough times. Former English player Kevin Pietersen recently showered his praise for him saying : “People can only dream about what you have done in cricket. And they’re some of the best players that have played that game.”
Pakistan captain Babar Azam also showed his support on Kohli while saying “This too shall pass. Stay strong Virat Kohli.”

Indian bowler Mohammad Shami also come out of support earlier this year amid his century drought. He says, “It doesn’t matter if Kohli hasn’t scored a century. His stature as a player is not limited by a century. It’s not like he hasn’t run in runs. There is no justification for us to even think that way as he has just scored fifty frequently. There is no reason to be upset about a fifty or sixty as long as it benefits the team.”
When a question was asked about Kohli’s form 2 months back, Sports physiologist Dr Priyanka Sarkar said, Virat is renowned for his aggressive style of play and outsized on-field exploits. Success has always been linked to his name. Therefore, going through a bad patch could seem like a challenging time to stay connected with him. Sincere acceptance of the lean phase will be really beneficial for him.

Acknowledging the current form, keeping the trust and capabilities and showing resilience until he finds form should be key for him. It is easier than said than done but Rome wasn’t build in a day.
