(The Quiver): In a shipping container which was assumed to be empty by the workers of Panama’s Atlantic port were in complete shock to see a dog still alive after been trapped for 40 days. The container arrived from Spain.

After months of rehabilitation and training, the caramel coloured dog named Mili has got a job at the MIDA agriculture development ministry.

We discovered a little hole in the rusted area of the container. She might have used her paw to open the hole and drank the rain-water. There was a lot of rain on the trip to Panama.

“It’s miracle for a little animal to survive for so long, that’s the reason we gave her name Milagros (Miracle) or Mili.” Hugo Turillazzi, a vet in Panama’s unit said.

When she made her arrival at Panama City, she weighted only nine pounds (4kg) he added.

During her recovery, Mili was trained at the Ministry canine unit. The dog is one-year old.
