Mastermind of 9/11 Attacks Killed In US Drone Strike

(The Quiver): On Sunday, Terming as biggest blow after death of Al-Qaeda founder Osama Bin Laden in 2011, Chief architect of the 9/11 terrorist attacks Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed in a drone strike by CIA in Kabul, Afghanistan.

“The United States carried out a counterterrorism operation over the weekend against a critical al-Qaeda target in Afghanistan.” An Administration official said.

After helping to coordinate the attacks of September 2001 which took nearly 3,000 lives, the Egyptian surgeon had a sum amount of $25 million on his head.

Describing it as a successful counter terrorism, U.S president Joe Biden made his remarks on Twitter.

Sources claim that on Sunday in Kabul, the United States killed the leader of Al-Qaeda with a strange weapon. The missile is the infamously gruesome Hellfire R9X, a warhead-free missile made up of six razor blades.

Sources says that, after plotting the October 12,2001 attacks on US Naval vessel which injured 30 people and killed 17 soldiers.

He is well known for his role in 1998 bombings of the US embassies of Kenya which killed 224 people. in that incident, 5,000 people were wounded.
