Odisha State To Receive Rainfall From August 5th

(The Quiver): The state is likely to witness rainfall from August 5th as the metrological department has predicted rainfall in the state.

Few places in Odisha are likely to witness light and moderate rainfall or thunderstorm in the coming days.

Heavy rain is expected in Puri, Ganjam, Khurda, Kandhamal and Kalahandi districts while Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Balangir, Boudh, Sonpur, Bargarh, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara and Gajapati districts are likely to receive heavy rain.

The MeT have issued a yellow warning signal to all the districts.

In the last 24 hours, 14 cities in the state have recorded day temperatures of 35 degrees or more. While the highest temperature was recorded at 36 degrees in Boudh, 35.7 degrees in Chandbali, and 35.6 degrees in Bhubaneswar. For the next three days, the highest daytime temperature will be 2 to 3 degrees Celsius above average. The temperature will drop after.
