Will Union Home Minister Take Action On Murder of BJYM leader?

(The Quiver): On Wednesday, the Karnataka BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel had a long conversation with the Union Home Minister of India Mr Amit Shah over the death of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha leader Praveen Nettaru.

“Those who are linked in the murder case of the youth leader will be punished. NIA will take the case forward and will take stern action on the matter.” The Home Minister said.

According to the statement of the BJP, Kateel showed his appreciation to shah for allowing the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to look into death of the BJYM leader.

Following the death of the BJYM leader, the state witnessed an outrage among BJP backers, hardliners of Hindutva, and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student branch of the Sangh Parivar, who organized protests.

Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death by motorcycle-riding youngsters in the Nettaru hamlet of Bellare in the Dakshina Kannada region a week ago.
