Seventh Governing Council Meeting chaired by PM Modi in Delhi

(The Quiver): At the Rastrapati Bhawan Cultural Centre, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi chaired the seventh governing council meeting of Niti Aayog in the capital of India.

The soul purpose of the meeting includes achieving of National Education Policy, crop diversification, self-sufficiency in oil seeds and pulses and more.

State’s role in highlighting their growth in the G-20 Platform will be addressed in the meeting.

Embraced with all chief ministers, lieutenant governors of union territories, PM Modi said the Niti Aayog meeting will pave the way of collaboration between States, Centre and union in building towards a sustainable and inclusive India.

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, attended the Niti Aayog council meeting in Delhi together with Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and chief minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann.

Since July 2019, this the first in-person meeting of the governing council held today.
