58% of Human Infection Diseases makes life worse due to this reason: Know What

(The Quiver): An alarming new analysis on the relationship between infectious illnesses and climate change portrays more than 58% of infectious diseases in a bleak picture as the world struggles to cope with the effects of Covid-19 and many nations combat the spread of Monkeypox.

According to Sources, Asthma, allergies, and even animals bites were among the non-infectious diseases that researchers examined in order to determine how many disorders could be somehow linked to climate threats. The scientists looked at 286 distint illnesses, and 223 of them appeared to be made worse by climate hazards.

1,006 pathways have been found from which climate change leads to infectious diseases like malaria and Hantavirus.

“The risk of diseases will also change if the climate does. This study demonstrates the dangers that climate change poses to people.” Dr Jonathan Patz, Director of Global Health University said.

“Climate change must be a top priority for those of us working in infectious diseases and microbiology. We need to all work together to prevent what will undoubtedly be a catastrophe as a result of climate change.” Infectious specialist  Dr Carlos del Rio said.
