Oath Taking Ceremony of Cabinet Ministers Begins in Mumbai

(The Quiver): On Tuesday,The eagerly anticipated Cabinet expansion is scheduled to take place at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai as it has been more than five weeks since the new administration was announced on June 30.

According to sources, 18 ministers will reportedly take the oath in the first phase, including 9 Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and 9 Shiv Sena politicians.

This comes after 40 days as Eknath Shinde has taken over duties as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

According to sources, Devendra Fadnavis is likely to receive the home portfolio.
