20,000 people to be recruited by Teleperformance in India

(The Quiver): With an aim to expand its base, Teleperformance which is a global leader in the omnichannel customer experience service has announced to hire 20,000 people within 18 months in India.

Additionally, it would emphasize hiring members of the LGBTQ community and elevate more women to top positions in its new India which consists of 1000 companies.

The people could from home or anywhere under the company which currently employs 80,000 people across 70 cities in India.

In order to lay emphasis on high growth revenue plan and enhancement of company’s footprint to serve the clients, the company has appointed Anish Mukker as its new CEO for India for this role.

“In India, there has been a 25% rise in net job creation. In India, we seek to increase employment and empower everyone, especially women and those with disabilities.” Mr. Mukker said.

“To quickly extend the reach of our services to clients abroad, my main focus will be on making Teleperformance India a powerhouse of in-depth expertise and leveraging the intellectual capital of Teleperformance globally” he added.

With having a significant presence of the company in brick and motor space, it will also promote the concept of Cloud campus which allows people to work remotely by addition of new offices.

With the help of our Cloud Campus model, people can work from any location with cutting-edge security and access to our extensive network spanning Fortune 1000 firms.

In India, 40% of the company’s staff members currently work from home, and this proportion will eventually rise to 50%.
