Men’s FTP for 2023-27 Cycle announced by ICC

(The Quiver): On Wednesday, with a total of 777 international matches, 173 Tests, 281 Odis and 323 T20s, The International Cricket Council has announced the upcoming cycle for the 12 nations which adds bilateral and tri-series.

PSL are all set clash with IPL which is supposed to happen in March-May 2025.

“Absolutely, I think it’s a fantastic initiative, and more importantly, I think all the players will really enjoy that as well. I think fans from Australia and India, as well as probably anyone who loved the game around the world, would have liked to have seen more Test matches between Australia and India.” Ricky Ponting said.

The 2023–25 cycle of the World Test Championship for India features home matches against Bangladesh, England, and New Zealand as well as away trips to Australia, South Africa, and the West Indies.

India will play 38 tests, 39 Odis, and 61 T20’s in the cycle.

While 40 and 43 tests will be played by Australia and England, as the current WTC champions are allocated with 32 and South-Africa will play 29 tests in the same duration. Sri-lanka and West-indies are set to play 25 tests respectively.

Pakistan will play 27 tests in the cycle.
