Akasa Air Unveiled its First Flight to New route

(The Quiver): On Friday, After successfully setting off on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad and Bengaluru-Kochi routes, India’s newest airline, Akasa Air, officially unveiled its first flights on the Bengaluru-Mumbai route.

On the Bengaluru-Mumbai route, two flights will be operated daily in each direction by the Akasa Air airline.

“With the introduction of commercial flights on the Bengaluru-Mumbai route today, we have accomplished yet another significant milestone. We think that having good connections between these places is essential for accelerating the development of our nation’s industrial and technological strength.” Co founder of Akasa Air Praveen Iyer said.

On September 10, a new route between Bengaluru and Chennai will also begin. 

 Rakesh Jhunjhunwala owned Akasa Air is likely to cross over 150 flights by the end of September.

By the end of March 2023, Akasa Air’s fleet size will be 18 aircraft, and over the following four years, the airline will add another 54 aircraft, bringing its total fleet size to 72 aircraft.
