India to Help this Country for Printing of School Text Books; Know More

(The Quiver): Sri Lanka will receive Indian financing aid to produce textbooks for schoolchildren for the year 2023 as it struggles with the ongoing economic crisis, which includes rising prices and a dollar shortage.

Under the Indian credit line, Measures have been taken to import the raw materials needed for textbook printing, such as the papers and ink. For the 2023 school year, which begins in March of this year, the printing of the textbook must be finished by January. Education Minister of Sri-Lanka Susil Premejanatha said.

India has so far offered the largest financial assistance, extending $4 billion for the year 2022 alone.
