Saudi Arabia to Host the 2029 Asian Winter Games

(The Quiver): The Asian Winter Games will be held at NEOM in 2029, and Saudi Arabia has announced that it has won the bid. The $500 billion centrepiece project of the Gulf Arab state will house the games at a mountain resort.

We are pleased to announce that Saudi Arabia has won the bid to host AWG TROJENA2029 as the first nation in west Asia, thanks to the leadership’s unwavering support for the sports sector and HRH Crown Prince.

Under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 development strategy, NEOM is regarded as Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s most challenging undertaking. The goal is to improve the economy, bring about a reduction in reliance on oil, and modify how sports are played in the nation.

On the Red Sea, NEOM will be a 26,500 square km (10,230 square mile) high-tech development that will also feature the industrial and logistical hubs “The Line,” a zero-carbon metropolis.

In addition to incorporating smart city technologies, the Saudi city of NEOM is now under construction in the Tabuk Province. It will serve as a tourist destination for the kingdom.
