Website for Citizens launched by Defence Minister; Know More

(The Quiver): On Friday, the website for the Armed Forces Battle Casualties Welfare Fund was inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh (AFBCWF).

The “Maa Bharati Ke Sapoot” (MBKS) portal was introduced at a ceremony held at this location’s National War Memorial complex.

In his speech, Army Chief Gen. Manoj Pande stated that despite difficulties, all three branches of the armed forces had faithfully discharged their duties.

Armed forces always defend the nation’s sovereignty, unity, and integrity by bravely and quickly putting an end to dangers like wars and cross-border terrorist actions. Because of this, it is morally required of the public to support the troops and their families in the same manner that they carry out their responsibilities to defend the country. Rajnath Singh said in the event.

The event also featured a number of performances, such as Manoj Muntashir Shukla reciting a poem, the Army Symphony Band, singer Mohit Chauhan, the Gatka and Kalarippayattu teams of the Army performing martial arts, a duet by Dr. L. Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurthy, and actor Siddharth Malhotra expressing his opinions.

In a video message, Actor Amitabh Bachchan urged the people to contribute to the fund. He has further accepted to be the Goodwill ambassador of the initiative.
