PM Modi to Address This Assembly Session Tomorrow; Know More

(The Quiver):  On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 90th Interpol General Assembly session, which is being held in India for the first time in about 25 years.

According to sources, Delegations from 195 Interpol member nations, including heads of national central offices, ministers, and top police officers, will be present at the summit.

Amit Shah, the union’s minister of the interior, Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, and Jurgen Stock, the secretary general, will all be in attendance.

The Interpol General Assembly was unanimously approved to be held in India this year in conjunction with the country’s 75th anniversary of independence.

The event, which starts on October 18 and runs through October 21, will centre on corruption and cybercrimes, child sexual abuse content shared online, missing people, and terrorism in addition to new technologies and mechanisms to improve police-to-police cooperation in locating wanted criminals around the world.
