Former Indian All-Rounder Signed by Deccan Gladiators; Know More
(The Quiver): Suresh Raina, a former all-rounder for India, has joined the Deccan Gladiators for the forthcoming season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2022.
At Deccan Gladiators, Raina will play alongside players like Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Jason Roy, Taskin Ahmed, Odean Smith, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
A few weeks ago, Raina played for India Legends in the Road Safety World Series. Until last year, the 35-year-old was a member of the Chennai Super Kings. He and Mahendra Singh Dhoni retired from international cricket in August 2020.
In the 2016 and 2017 IPL seasons, he also participated in and served as captain of The Gujarat Lions.
Raina made the decision to quit from all forms of cricket earlier this year, which allowed him to sign with overseas franchises.
The sixth season of the Abu Dhabi T10 league gets underway on November 23. The Gladiators will compete against Team Abu Dhabi on the opening day of the competition.
