Surya’s 111* Powers India Towards Comfortable Win

(The Quiver): On Sunday, Surya Kumar Yadav’s blistering knock of 111* helped India register a 65-run win against New Zealand in Mount Maunganui. With this win, India registered their highest win in terms of runs on New Zealand soil.

After send in to bat by Kane Williamson, India openers made a sedate start with the bat before losing Rishabh Pant to Lockie Ferguson for 6 runs. Ishan Kishan too scored 36 runs. But this is all about Surya Kumar Yadav’s class and his wide range of shot making which propelled India towards 191 runs in 20 overs.
