Thalaivar 169: Rajinikanth teams up with Nelson

(The Quiver): Sun Pictures has announced that Rajinikanth will be teaming up with filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar for his next, tentatively titled Thalaivar 169.

Produced by Sun Pictures, who are the producers of Nelson Dilipkumar’s ‘Beast’ as well, the film tentatively called as ‘Thalaivar 169’ will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar with music by Anirudh. While the young music sensation will be teaming up with the director for the fourth time in a row, it will also be his third film for Rajinikanth after ‘Petta’ and ‘Darbar’.

Meanwhile, Nelson Dilipkumar is set to deliver his third directorial ‘Beast’, which features Vijay in the lead role, and the film is slated to release in April. The talented director is currently working on the post-production work of the film, and he will be commencing his film with Rajinikanth after the release of ‘Beast’.
