YASH DHULL SMASHES CENTURY ON DEBUT, JOINS SACHIN TENDULKAR IN ELITE LIST

(The Quiver): India U19 World Cup-winning captain Yash Dhull on Thursday scripted history as he hit a hundred on his Ranji Trophy debut. The 19-year-old got to the landmark in just 133 balls for Delhi on Day 1 of their Group H match against Tamil Nadu at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati.

Yash Dhull dominated the Tamil Nadu bowling attack, stepping up under pressure after Delhi were reduced to 7/2. Yash Dhull hit 16 boundaries in a stroke-filled innings as he stamped his authority against a high-quality Tamil Nadu bowling attack.

Yash joins an elite list of batters, including Sachin Tendulkar and Prithvi Shaw, to hit a Ranji Trophy hundred on debut as a teenager.
