This serious issue is confined with election slogans , debates and discussions . This issue only catches serious attention of everyone during the time of elections , as the mud throwing blame games are played between the political party in power and other opposition political parties. The political leaders are seen to allege their opposition party for the increasing unemployment rates in the country. This time also elections have arrived and our great leaders are busy in their respective elections campaigning ,throwing nets of promises over the public  for providing employments and making their lives easier than before if only their party comes to power. But the scenario of this development promises vanishes soon after the elections are over and the scenario of the Country remains almost same as before.

Recently Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi , former PM Manmohan Singh and Priyanka Gandhi and other oppositions leaders have openly blamed Modi government on the increasing unemployment rates , rising prices and on other crisis going on in the country, referring the present government’s inefficiency in solving the issues of the country. Lets find out  by comparing the rate of unemployment during the rule of Congress and BJP government  in India. The survey shows the unemployment rate during the time of congress government was 5.67% in year 2004.

The Unemployment  gradually went on decreasing till year 2008 ,  the rate decreased to 5.28 %.

Again the rate of unemployment rose its head and went on increasing , finally came to the  same point , 5.67%  in the year of 2013  from where congress sarkar had started . This data shows the failure of congress government  in solving the issue .

Losing hope from congress , the public brought BJP government to power , and the rate of unemployment gradually went on decreasing till 2019 to 5.27%  but suddenly rose to the highest  7.11 % in the year 2020.
