RATNABHANDARA THEFT, HOW TRUTH IN PIKU’S WORDS?

(The Quiver) : Where are the keys of the Bhitara Ratna Bhandara (inner treasure chamber) of Puri Lord Jagannath Temple?  Why Ratna Bhandara is not opened?  These are some of the questions arising in minds of  Lord Jagannath devotees. Amid all these , a shocking statement came infront of everyone/  up . This shocking statement is given by the one who is a lawyer, political leader and present day social worker Priyadarshan Pattnaik. He revealed that he had  himself seen when the Ratna Bhandra keys were looted. According to him , on February 14 , 2009 , around 1am the loot had taken place when he had gone to see the Pahuda  Alati of Lord Jagannath.

Now here many questions arises after his statements.  How a responsible citizen like him stayed silent being known about the loot ?  being a lawyer by profession why didn’t he reported the matter in Police station? What was the reason behind his silence? It has been 13 years since the keys are stolen then why he remained silent for 13 years? Has the law stopped him? what is his motive behind hiding this matter?

According to Supreme Court , if someone has witnessed any mishappening , he can immediately complain to the police, but when it comes Lord Jagannath  security then responsible citizen Priyadarshan Pattnaik (Piku) comes first. Then is it not the responsibility of Piku to report about this? Like this many questions are emerging with the advancement of this matter.
