WHY NATO ABANDONED UKRAINE ? WHO WILL SAVE UKRAINE ?
(The Quiver) : War hit country Ukraine’s desperation for joining NATO exposed the country to serious target of Russia. At present times when Ukraine is subjected to brutal attacks of Russia as a result of which the country has turned into the land of gun powders , explosions, deaths and devastation . The president of Ukraine , Volodymyr Zelensky being helpless turned to NATO but is shocked to watch the non- cooperation of NATO squad.
NATO on Friday rejected Ukrainian calls to help it , protect its skies from Russian missiles and warplanes but Europe promised more sanctions to punish Russian President Vladimir Putin.
President Zelensky criticized NATO late Friday night over its rejection of a no-fly zone . Even hours after the alliance announced , NATO decided not intervene by air or land for fear of creating a conflict with Russia , as NATO support for Ukraine’s no-fly zone could turn Russia furious attacks towards other parts of Europe.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in denying Ukraine’s request, “We are not part of this conflict.”
He also said that NATO allies have responsibility to prevent this war from escalating beyond Ukraine because that would be even more dangerous, more devastating and would cause even more human suffering. NATO is a defensive alliance , they seek no conflict but if the conflict comes to them they are ready to fight .
Stoltenberg further added ,the worst is yet to come as Russia is rolling out more heavy arms. He quotes ,”The days to come are likely to be worse, with more deaths, more suffering and more destruction” .
Responding to this rejection by NATO , Zelenskiy said in a televised address, “Today there was a NATO summit, a weak summit, a confused summit, a summit where it was clear that not everyone considers the battle for Europe’s freedom to be the number one goal.”
Being Hopeless Zelenskiy stated NATO had given Russia the green light to continue its bombing campaign. “Today, the leadership of the alliance gave the green light for further bombing of Ukrainian cities and villages, having refused to set up a no-fly zone”, told Zelenskiy.
it is pathetic in our so-called civilized society that the powerful nations of Nato and other alliance world wide do nothing to assist Ukraine from being attacked by a nation that still lives in the 19th century with no moral character. Russia has been and always will be a nation of cowards and beasts that need to be brought to heel. As general George Patton said at the end of WW II we should keep going all the way to Moscow but the cowardly politicians wouldn’t listen resulting in his supposed accidental death.
