LAST PHASE OF UP ELECTION FOLLOWED BY EXIT POLL THIS EVENING

(The Quiver) : Today , as Uttar Pradesh votes for  its seventh and the last phase of Assembly elections, with multiple seats witnessing close contests. Till 11 am,  21.55% voter turnout was recorded in the nine districts polling . The highest percentage was recorded in Mau at 24.74  per cent, followed by Chandauli (23.43%) and Mirzapur (23.41%). Apart from the Varanasi district, voting is taking place in eight other districts in India’s most populous state.

A total of 613 candidates are in the electoral fray for the last phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections for 54 constituencies slated for Monday in nine districts of Mau, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, and Bhadohi (Sant Ravidas Nagar).

 Today , on March 7 ,Assembly elections will be concluded in five states with the seventh and final phase of voting . While the counting of the votes will be done on March 10, exit poll results will be out this evening after the final phase of voting concludes in Uttar Pradesh at 6 pm.

As voting concludes in Uttar Pradesh today, all eyes will be on the exit poll results 2022 this evening.
