The Kashmir Files Breaking All Records , To Enter 100 Crore Club
(The Quiver) : Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial film, The Kashmir Files has smashed all records at the box office in its first week. The Kashmir Files got released on March 11.Big released films like Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi failed to attract huge crowd of people who flocked to the theatres to watch The Kashmir Files.
On Day 6, the film bagged Rs 19.05 crore reportedly. The total box office collection of the film now stands at Rs 79.25 crore. The second-week collection of Vivek Agnihotri’s film is expected to be more than what the film earns this week. It is expected that the film would enter the Rs 100-crore club soon. All eyes are now set on the Holi holiday as well as the second weekend since its release as in holidays more people would be rushing to cinema halls to watch the epic film.
The Kashmir Files is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus during the Kashmir insurgency in 1990. This film has given goosebumps that no one has witnessed in a long time. From India to the US and Australia, the film’s shows are running housefull all over the world.
The film stars actors like Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi.
