(The Quiver) :Film “The Kashmir files” seems to have waken up the whole Country. As many unusual happenings could be marked after release of the film. Today, Vikramaditya Singh, son of Sr Congress leader Dr Karan Singh, tenders his resignation from Congress.

He cited the reason behind his resigning was his party Congress and his position on critical issues of Jammu and Kashmir was not same as the party prefers to stay away from ground realities.

He informed about his resignation by tweeting, “My position on critical issues vis-à-vis J&K which reflect national interests do not align with that of Congress. The party remains disconnected from ground realities.

Vikramaditya Singh is an Indian businessman and politician. He was a leader of Indian National Congress (INC) and an ex-member of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council. He is the grandson of Maharaja Hari Singh who was the last reigning maharajah of Jammu and Kashmir. He is the heir apparent pretender of Dogra dynasty.
